Pulpal Therapy

Pulp therapy is the process of removing infected nerve tissue within a tooth and is indicated when dental decay has spread to the nerve of a tooth. Pulpotomies are used to preserve the primary tooth and hold open space for the developing permanent tooth. The tooth is medicated and restoration placed over the pulpotomy.
