Michael J. Amodeo, DDS

Dr. Michael Amodeo was born in Brooklyn, New York, but as a young child his family relocated to the San Diego area. He was raised in Rancho Bernardo & graduated from our local Poway High School. Michael obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara and went on to pursue his Dental degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon completing his Doctoral Degree at UCLA he spent two more years at UCLA completing his residency in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Amodeo had the opportunity to serve as Chief Resident during his residency at UCLA.

After completing his residency, Dr. Amodeo decided to return to his hometown of Rancho Bernardo with his wife Rachela, whom he met during his undergraduate studies at UCSB. Dr. Amodeo and his wife now have two young sons, Nicolas (“Nico”) and Jack. They are enjoying raising their two sons in the same town Dr. Amodeo grew up in. Michael feels privileged to be able to give back to a community that has been able to afford him this opportunity. In addition to spending time with his Family, Dr. Amodeo also enjoys exercise, sports, and cooking.
